That four people in a room thing really bothered me too. There was no movement in the episode at all. I find it easy to believe he's just more interested in his family these days. Plus, there's definitely somehting wrong with the writing. It's just...flatter. Oh, and also, did you notice last night's episode was shot almost like a standard 4-camera sitcom? No long camera moves, none of the signature cuts...just all four main characters in one room standing next to each other. I could go on (and on)...but I won't. I'm too upset. I never saw it until it premered on Comedy Central. Most sitcoms fizzle after awhile. I imagine after 6 years it becomes difficult to keep using the same formula and keeping it fresh.
